[SA]What is your gta san andreas mod tool?

i start i have san andreas mod installer 1.1

hmmmm i have gta mod installer 1.1 and i cant download any weapons mods but i can download sak weapon mods

u need img tool to install weapon mods

i dont know how use to img tool :S

search for tutorial on youtube

When I did use mods I used Alcis IMG Editor

Before using the S.A.M.I. but now use the ImgTool

I use Spark to replace archives and IMGtool to rebuild gta3.img

I Use Spark it's easy.

Heres The Tutorial That I Made:

First Download The Spark Img Editor:

Then Click File-Open Or CTRL+O
Here's a picture: (noob quality)



Then Go to Program Files - Rockstar Games - Gta San Andreas - Data and select the Gta3.img file

Then Just Drag The Mods To The Spark Program And There u have it!

this is not the fastes way to do it but i do like this:

Ill use an Audi A6 quattro for an example:

Download the mod:


Save it in your gta folder(doesnt rly mathers)

install and open up imgtool:


Press File then Open:


Go to your models folder and dubble click on gta3.img

now press Edit then Find and type in the mods name wich in this tut is Emperor:


then extract the dff and txd files.
now delete them.

After you did that you gotta add the new files,press Commands then add and find your mod folder:


Now press Commands and Rebuild Arcihve:



then replace the mod lines wich you find in the readme folder.

now your about done

Img tool is the worst ever.

img tool: download, open gta3.img, find the first file, select it, delete or rename it, click on add, look for new file, import it, do the same for the rest of the files (srt3 have 1673 files, good luck) and rebuild (because img tool needs it with every installation)

spark: downlad, open gta3.img, import ALL files at the same time and save. It can also show textures or install file just dragging them.

alci's: download, open gta3.img, import ALL files at he same time and save. It can also rebuild very good and export even all files at the same time.
